Speaking of weight I went up about 10 lbs so I can relate some.
I've been exercising a lot more these past two weeks and have
already dropped a couple pounds thank goodness.

ehehe Mel, I understand how you feel abt gaining some weight, even though just a little. When I was doing my internship, I swear I gained some weight and I kinda freaked out ahaha..later I thought it's just my imagination and maybe a bit self-concious, but Mel, last time I saw you at Aya's open house, you still looked great ^^

I disagree, because the definition of what people want is usually toned, not thin. Granted, you will say even then ur not toned, but the point is that I think in general, people, men, like myself, prefer women with a little more stuff in them u know... not like just thin.
I joke about women and fat because it is precisely THAT which they kept on saying over and over even though they got men drooling over them and gossiping about how pretty or sexy they are. (really, to a lot of you women, the whole 'i'm fat' thing, is kinda getting old.)

I think the problem is not every guy thinks the way you do, sweet Andri, and the constant competition among women to become more superior than the other (dunno... some weird genetic survival trigger?). The presence of slimming ads/commercials and beauty books are not always helping. It could make certain women feel... inferior, to the point of being psychologically or/and physically damaged, and would waste as much ka-ching to accomplish that look (unfortunately, it doesn't always work according to her genes or lifestyle).
This depends on how her mindset is conditioned I guess. It's not fun having people around you calling you fat, especially your closest pals and relatives.
However, what I do take into account is being healthy. The perfect elixir of life: balanced diet, frequent exercise, and enough rest towards a healthy mind. I don't care if I can never have a body that would make every woman hurl herself off the cliff, but I do have the desire to regain my athletic physique like back.
I greatly salute women who love their bods no matter what anyone says. Maybe I should start hanging out with those kind of people...
