(EDIT): BY THE WAY, GUYS. This was drawn AND submitted WAY before notch even MADE it so you could see drips before you mined into water or lava.Ok?

I actually absolutely adore everything about Minecraft but there are some things that irk me sometimes
Number 1.
Mining into water.
Not that it's hard to grab a spare block and plug up the leak and keep going once the water's receded but omfg!! You get washed away first and moving in water is slowwwww lol!

I was just mining in the game when I saw some lava. I plugged it up. I ran into water above it. I let it flow to make some obsidian. It sucked tho becuz I didn't have a diamond pik.

BTW Don't play with lava, it's exactly the same with playing with fire.
I tried to make a lava river underground.
Until my friend slipped and fell into it.
I had to supply insurance for his diamonds and redstones lost.

Water's NOTHING. My pet peeve is running into lava... sure it flows slowly, but I hate that moment of sheer panic.

What really stinks is when it happens in the creative mode. You have to put sponges EVERYWHERE before you can actually plug the hole D:
