ATTENTION! before you favorite this or comment on this I'd very much love if you read the description, I poured my heart into writting it and it means alot to me. I will be so greatfull if you read it.

Well some of you know that Rainshadow has changed a bit, she has gained wings. Yes I know she already had them but now she has them all the time (I already updated my ref, for more info about the changed Rain look on there). Besides the wings nothing has changed.

I've never really introduced Rainshadow, no one really knows about her that much. I mean yes she's my fursona but I don't think 'fursona' cuts it. She represents me but more importantly she's my angel. She's more then a character I made up cause I wanted to fit in. She's real to me and every marking means something special.

Rainshadow cannot be 'played' with or 'owned' she can't be 'stolen' or 'collared' (hense why I hardly draw her collar anymore). She is pure and beautiful and loves everyone. She keeps the peace and looks over the earth. Her star polaris (north star) guids weary travelers home, she is an angel.

Being a wolf As all of you know Rainshadow is a wolf despite her foxish appearence. Why is she a wolf? simple. I DID NOT MAKE HER A WOLF TO FIT IN! I made her a wolf because it's what my soul is(in my eyes Rainshadow is my soul), I have a soul of a wolf and many people say that about me. I'm loving and loyal, protective and shy, I am missunderstood and I have my bad days but I'm always there for my friends and loved ones.

Being a Celestial spirit Not alot of people really know what a Celestial Wolfen, or Celestial Spirit is. A Celestial Spirit is something that I made up but at the same time believe it to some what be true. Celestial Spirits are animal like angels that rule the stars and planets and celestial landscape. Each spirit is given a pair of wings (The wings of Ikea Seki) and a star to guardian over once they finish their training (they are trained from birth) Rainshadow is a Celestial Spirit (in her case a wolf hense the title Celestial Wolfen). I've always been facinated and awed by space and astronomy, even when I was but a todler I'd go out with my dad and star gaze. My whole life I've been studying and researching astronomy and thus the Celestial Spirits were created.

Silver fur Why does Rainshadow have silver fur? because for my silver is a beautiful but shunned color. Most people think of silver as a prettied up version of gray. Sure silver objects are shiney and pretty but no one really stops and stares at a silver applience and says "it's beautiful, what a nice color." Rainshadow and me are alot like that, we are loved but no one thinks anything special about us.

Purple markings Purple is my favorite color but I put purple on Rainshadow because of that reason and one other. Purple is a beautiful color that sticks out. Rainshadow can be odd at times and if you know me in real life then you know that I do stick out from the crowd because I a goofy.

Black markings and stars The black markings respresent night in which I feel a strange comfort and freedom in. As does Rainshadow. The star markings are to remind everyone of her heritage.

Gray markings The gray markings are there for the same reason the silver fur is there. Cept the gray balances it out and say "Hey look I'm pretty too!" because everyone ignore gray.

Muzzle marking This is probably Rainshadow's most important valuable marking. Her muzzle marking has been on her since the begining and everyone just thinks it's a stripe WELL IT'S NOT. The muzzle marking is actually called the Marking of Exile. Rainshadow's mother Nova is a Celestial Wolfen too but in the Celestial Haven only the king and Queen are allowed to have babies. Nova met a Celestial Wolf named Kanga and fell in love, she ended up getitng pregnant and thus was thrown down to earth (shooting stars). Nova was granted the Marking of Exile because she was exiled and thus Rainshadow was born with it to. I have often considered getting rid of this marking but I never have the heart to. Rainshadow is an angel and she is beautiful and gracefull but the marking reminds everyone that no one is perfect and there is hope for everyone.

The long tail Everyone always forgets that Rainshadow has a LOOONNNGGGG FLUFFY TAIL. Her tail is ment to represent that of a commet's tail. Why? Because when you look at a commet the first thing you see is the beautiful tail as it zips through the sky. All Celestial Spirits posess the trait of long tails because in my mind commets are Celestial Spirits whom fly through the sky.

The wings Last but not least I'd LOVE to talk about Rainshadow's wings. Wings are popular in characters but Rainshadow's wings have meaning. Wings allow one to fly, go wherever they want, as high as they want, there are no boundries with wings. Rainshadow has wings because not only is she a Celestial Goddess but she shows everyone that there is no boundry. She shows them that she is an angel, she's pure. Her wings can change color and shape and even transparent or not (The wings shown here are my wings in Furcadia) but they are always angel wings and she always has them. It's my dream to fly and I hope some day when I reach heaven's gates that I will at last be free.
