Here you can see the back of my Princess Garnet gown. Ignore the bottom embriodery.
I'm not done with it yet. I'm STILL not done with it yet. One of these days I'll finish it. I need to wash it too because my dress got really dirty from all of the walking around. That train was a real pain to walk around in, especially in the tiny crowded pathways in the Artist Alley at Anime Expo.I really don't like Garnet's hair clip. I mean, why?! Why does the beautiful, rich princess have a nasty piece of fugly cardboard for a hair clip?! XP lol Well, I didn't actually use cardboard for my hair clip. I used craft foam. Still, that doesn't help to make it any prettier. I was thinking about decorating it but then I want it to be accurate too so I just left it like that. I don't know. Maybe one of these days I'll decorate it.

I just wish that my cosplays turned out so well!! ;_; do you make them from scratch or from an original peice of clothing and then modify it? mine are usually from scratch, but, then again I'm only 11 and I'm not as good as older people who have experiance!! >.<

I make all of my costumes from scratch. I feel that it turns out better when you can make it exactly like how you want rather than limiting yourself to the piece of clothing you bought.
Wow! It's amazing that you already know how to sew at 11. When I was 11, I only knew how to give my stuffed animals surgery whenever they ripped apart. lol I started learning how to sew when I was 18 and the first costumes that I made were soooo bad! >_< lol

Thank you! ^^ The headpiece was actually sculpted by my friend. She deserves most of the credit for it. All I did was string the beads and put everything together.
