This drawing was my first ever drawing on Deviantart, and I believe my first digital piece as well. I've been doing digital for about 6 years now, and I honestly owe my drive for it to cartoons, specifically my little pony. When I was little, I started out with tracing from a how-to-draw sketchbook and quickly got bored. I started experimenting with drawing them on my own and eventually began developing a style. (Albeit not quite what you would call 'good' lol) It wasn't until a few years later that a friend recommended a sometimes strange, but amazing website called Deviantart! I gave it a try, and had so much fun. I met lots of amazing artists with similar interests and learned from the artists I looked (and still look) up to. I was inspired and determined to keep improving, for the most part ignoring the vast gap between my skill and those I aspired to be like. There's been lots of ups and downs, but I've truly enjoyed my artistic journey, and look forward to all the learning to come. I'll keep experimenting and creating and learning all there is to learn, and hopefully come back to this piece someday seeing all the ways I can improve it.
