The eyes are indeed bigger than the norm and sometimes it's one of those things I choose to do with a portrait to draw the viewer in

Thank you for the kind words Maybe one day I will get a chance to paint a Victorian lady as a companion piece, but I do paint women all the time, so the few male portraits I've painted are to balance the ones of the ladies.
