XDD If you think about it, it's kind of funny- It's only reasonable for spiders to fear humans, we're what, 100,000 x bigger than them? And then the HUMANS are actually afraid of something that is 100,000 x SMALLER than them!! XDD Wh are living in a very weird world.... XD

First, spiders look creepy. It's a fact. Of course they are more afraid of you than you should be of them, but: second, if they were larger than you, they would eat you. You are larger than them, you don't eat them. In comparison, the current size situation is to be preferred. Also, there are pretty big spiders, who do pretty nasty things, like having their baby spiders eat your brain for real, while you're alive and paralyzed by their venom. If there is any reason behind our spider fears, that would be it. Did I mention they look creepy, however small? Very creepy. Who wants creepy things crawling all over the wall? I know I don't.

I wholeheartedly agree. You know, the smaller ones about the size of the tip of my little finger I catch with the hand, but the big ones are usually pretty fast and seven out of ten times jumpers, so I catch them with "The Lounge" (a glass I usually use for spider catching) for my fiance to release into nature later. So I suppose I don't agree at all, since I don't burn them to death with a flamethrower.

As much as I also agree with using a cup to let them back outside, I just yell out "SPIDER! KILL IT WITH FIRE!!" then my mom comes in and uses a cup.
