Description
Same Description as the Lineart , but ColouredHere is my Turian OC , Kalle .
I didn't found him a suitable complete name , and i'm not very pleased with the facial war paints colours which turned me mad , put i like it nevertheless
Kalle is a Palaven born Turian Sentinel and a damn good Marksman . He's a bit of a Mercenary , he just works for whoever wants to pay him . He usually carry a Black Widow and a Carnifex , and he's deadly precise with both of them ( he can headshot someone at the same distance with both his sniper and his handgun , exactly as i do in Mass Effect 3 multiplayer mode )
I must also thank Maaaster *Krubbus for the Turian Tutorial and videos on Youtube which helped me aloooot
Daaaaaamn , i'm such a PIG !
I'm totally unable to clean properly a lineart , Shaaaaame on meeeee !!!
Wasda grayish fatish linish thing on the side of mah drawing O_O
I wish to Thank every single one of you that

As long as you keep experimenting till you find the style that fits you, your all good. This still has a lot of emotion to it still though. I'm jealous your able to draw a turian, I struggle with turians :/ I've so far only drawn one successful turian doodle which I hope to upload soonish. Though, like any other art it just takes practice xD. I've had a hard time trying to find time to practice with drawing much anymore unfortunately.

The current OC i'm creating ( a human girl ) is called Khalee ( pronouced Kali , as th godess ) and i remembered that in Wallander ( BBC ) , which is actually a Sweden serie , there was a dude called Kalle , so i use this name for most opposit genders character i could create

Yaaaay ... I wish you could see the original Wallander sometime, espescially the early episodes, they were absolutely brilliant! They have a totally different feeling to them than the British version. Nothing wrong with BBC's version either, it's just .. different.
Good luck with your creating. And you're welcome, Kalle is adorable!

Yeah, there are some hilarious moments and characters in the original version, espescially Kurt himself.
Oh .. I'm sorry, I don't know that actor at all. I mean, I must have seen him in the movies of course but that's probably the first time I've ever seen him. I think they did a good choice though with the British Kurt, Rolf Lassgård who plays the Swedish Wallander even looks fairly similar to Branagh.

Really ?
Cause the BBC version is kinda sad sometimes , there is barely to fun , except few times ...
Oh , you probably saw him in Thor or The Avengers if you watched the movies , he's the gorgeous man playing Loki
In the BBC version , Kurt is a very serious guy , indeed Branagh fits the role perfectly !

Skyward-Dreamer In reply to Centauri-Works [2012-06-26 17:00:18 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, that's because they based it on a later version I think, which has a totally different actor for Wallander, and this show is a lot more serious, it's hardly any fun at all. That's why I love the original movies so much.
He he, no I haven't seen this movie. Everyone keeps prodding me to go see it but I never go to the movies, so I'm stuck waiting for the DVD release unfortunately. I'll keep my eyes open when I get it.
Yes, he does and it's very funny hearing him and the others trying to pronounce all the Swedish words.

Usually i do prefer originals , but well , since i knew the BBC actors before watching the serie , i thought it would be the same
Okay don't worry , you'll understand fast enough why every one likes Tom Hiddleston now , 'cause Loki is pretty badass in the movies
In English it sounds okay but dude , you never heard the French version , it's atrocious
But i don't know if it's accuarate ( the Swedish pronounciation )!
I'd like to talk Swedish , it's a cool language

Lol, all right.
Nope, I shun French as much as possible. It just ... I don't know, hurts my ears.
Really? I've heard it compared to Chinese a few times, and it's supposededly one of the harder languages to learn thanks to our weird grammar and spellings. If you ever decided to try sometime, best of luck.

I'm glad you're able to enjoy it then. Ooops, put my foot in my mouth there I see! XD How come it's your mother language? I forget which country DA listed you from, sorry, but I don't think it was France?
Ha ha, yeah .. it's apparenly quite infamous. And then there are the obscure dialects. I swear, some parts of Sweden sound like a totally different country! I would hardly understand a single word they speak.
Oh, well you might be a natural talent for languages if you're already fluent in three of them. Perhaps you really should try Swedish sometime.

Well , i only bought " Midsummer Eve " ( think it's the title in English ) I'll have things to read during the flight to New Wark for Holidays
+ the Mass Effect books
Yeah , the books are more " trash " than the serie , and i noticed Kurt's father don't die at the same moment in the story too .
Bah , don't worry
Well yit's not France indeed , there's still several other countries that have French as official language , such as Belgium , Neighbours
Ah ah , i guess that's the same with almost every language , dialects It's really sad Swedish is such a hard language to lean , i would've like to talk it otherwise
I fluently speak 2 language , French and English , my Dutch isn't quite as fluent as my English , strange for a Belgian no ? I'm indeed more talented for language than Math and Science

Ah, I think I know which one that is, hope you'll enjoy it.
He doesn't? That's odd. Mind you, discrepancies between books and movies are common, I remember one of my favourite books when I was a kid had a male villain that was somehow transformed to a female villain in the movie ... sigh.
Ah yes, I see, so that's why. Are there dialects to French as well because of neighbouring countries all using the same language, or does all French sound exactly the same?
Yeah, but I think we're more extreme than most. I recently heard there's well over one hundred (!) dialects here but of course only a handful are strange enough that you would have trouble communicating with the people.
Ha ha, that seems to be more common in women though, don't you think? I totally hate mahts myself, always have done. It never made sense to me somehow. My father was brilliant with maths but back when he went to school, kids didn't have to learn any other language, not even English which is mandatory these days, so he hardly knew a word of 'foreign'.

I must say i bought it after seeing the episode so i know how it end , i want to compare the book and the serie
Oooch , that's weird It's just so weird in the episode also
There are some French dialects , but most of the time , it's not like they are speaking another language even though they have a differant way of speaking and it's obvious ( Canadian French -> Belgian French -> French French ) Those are very differant
Sure there is hundreds of dialects , but sometimes it's just spoken by a village ... dialects can be tricky to understand indeed .
Ah ah , i never noticed , a lot of people aren't really good at math so
I totally agree , math doesn't make sense ...
Yeah , my parents also never learned another language at school .

Oh, okay. Well, you'll probably find the book more enjoyable than the movie, that's usually how it is. It's impossible to fit all the details of the novels into a single movie after all.
Oh wow, I really must try and research this and maybe hear some. I had no idea. But it makes perfect sense that the base language would deviate slightly between countries.
Lol, well it's something they say anyway. And I've spoken to many women who agree it is so for them so there's probably some truth to it.

Yeah , they can't do huge things in serie . Even though the BBC Wallander episodes are one hour long instead of usual 45 minutes .
Actually , the Belgian French and the French French are similar , but in Belgium we have expressions and things we say that they don't in France , and thus you easily recognize the two But Canadian French is hard to understand , even for us
Yeah, Math is just kinda useless for people who are not planning of doing physics , chemistry or math later as a job . You actually use the math you learned in your primary shcool years , and every stuff you learn in upper classes is nonesense

Aha, that's really neat. Lol, really? I'll definitely have to try and find some samples of different types of French now, I'm so curious!
I know, right? And seriously, there are such things as computers and calculators anyway. Ha ha, exactly. But honestly, I can't even do 'head calculations' easily, I can work it out if I have a pen and paper, otherwise I'm royally screwed.

I think that if you learn some French in school , it's generic French from France , as for the numbers . In Belgium for " 77 " , we say " septente-sept " which corresponds to the English " seventy seven " , but those French from France say " soixante-dix-sept " , which , literally translatee would mean " sixty seventeen " , illogical , isn't it ? ( 60+17 still makes 77 , but it's just stupid ... )
Don't worry , my exams are finished and i got my report which is pretty good if i take of my 2,5 in Math

Yeah, I do understand how that might be useful. The thing with me though, is that I've my Xbox set up with a 5.1 sound system, so I get sound coming from all directions. I can hear exactly where enemies are, where grenades land etc, so I don't really need someone else telling me that. In fact, chatter can be devastatingly distracting for me ...
Lol! Oh, let's see if I still remember the funniest thing I've ever heard (on Halo or otherwise) Right, I think it went something like this: there were two guys and one of them said something about the other being a 'nigger', you know, like the curse word. And the other played stupid and said 'what's a knicker' like he didn't hear the actual word. Now, a knicker of course is a pair of underwear .. and the conversation quickly deteriorated from there. Like discussing certain private bodyparts and so on. It all ended with the knickers guy singing a stupid song for the rest of the game. I was laughing so hard!

I'm such a fan of Halo ... Got the Legendary Edition of Halo 3 just for Da helmet
Halo Combat Evolved was my very first true game on computer , i played it couples of months after it got out thanks to my cousin who is 10 years older than me , so he got me into Halo and video games when i was small
I also was damn scared to sleep when i was watching him playing Half Life xDDDD

It really is something else. I was using a really old stereo system at first and when that broke down .. well, there hardly were anything but home movie systems available. I bought a rather cheap one but it's been great so far so I'm very pleased with it. And it adds so much to movies and games.
Lol, it was hilarious! It probably happened three or four years ago, I know there was more dialogue but I simply can't remember it anymore. But I was laughing so hard tears were spurting from my eyes and I just couldn't focus on the game after that.
Halo 3 is amazing, I've had so much fun on that game. I do hope you get a chance to try it someday. Heh, and Reach that came after H3 was SUCH a letdown. I was so angry, because I invested in all three editions, including the ridiculously overprized Legendary ed, sigh.
Oh wow, well I wasn't aware of Halo or most games back then at all. I only got Internet around 2001 and I never played online until I got my first Xbox four years ago. But I've heard Halo CE was a revolution back then.
Ah, now Half Life is a game I did play though. Many, many times. I'm just thinking of playing The Orange box again actually, that includes three or four versions of the sequels and they're really cool.

Right, well that's a good start. If you're thinking of upgrading, you might as well buy either a 5.1 set, mine's a Sony that cost around €300, or you can opt for separate pieces (amplifier plus speakers. That'll probably be three times as much though)
I so wish I'd been able to record it!
Heh, my Reach Legendary was €180! No fair. And add to that that I also preordered the Limited, for €99 AND the standard editions for €65. I was broke for a year after that, lol. Halo 3 is still beautiful in my opinion and I had so much fun both with the campaign and the multiplayer. I'm looking forward to trying both games on my new faster connection after I move to my new apartment. I'm sure it'll be a blast.
Right, well that's understandable. Yes I bet they were and I think the entire concept, shooting and co-op or what the game had, was very different from what we've had before.

Yes it certainly is as well as watching movies or TV. Ha, I remember back in 1994 when I bought my first stereo VCR. What a treat! And now we're up to 7.1 audio. Time flies.
Yes I got you, it's just stupid that Reach was twice as much. Did we really get that much more game for the money? I remember some crazy gametypes like that. I think the worst for me was swords and shotguns. What a dreadful combination, lol. I hate both of them. I like to fight from a distance and I take the sniper role in most other games.
Totally agree, although Reach's elits were amazing in their own right, so fast and agile. I remember lol:ing for about thirty minutes the first time I played Reach and tried sniping them. NOT easy.
