Description
A drawing a just finished for a friend's Bday of him in his AT-AT Driver costumeRed pencil for the sketch , grey shades of Copics for the " colours " , and Faber-Castell black pens for the Lines , the most common ones , on a roughly A4-sized paper with heavy grain .
Couple hours of work , makes a nice gift for my friend , and makes a nice training for me since i've never drew with Copics before .
This is actually my second drawing coloured with Copics , no lies .
We got like 5 Copics or so for our Layout lesson at school , and i figured out i could use them for my own " profit " . I'm thinking of opening Comissions soon , 'cuz a lot of friends keep telling me i could sell my drawings , i have the skills and bla bla bla ... Not that i don't believe them , but up until now , i've never considered my drawing to be good enough to be sold ...
Enjoy

I'd like my lines to be even cleaner , i don't get how real Comic Book artists do

Probably editing in the computer after they scan it in to add color.
Or something.

Yeah , or maybe they don't shake when doing their linearts , dunno
Digital inking is surely cleaner , looks so good

Most of the time it does , but with some artists , it just looks so amazing
For instance , check Chuckdee art , he draws the " In the Shadow of Yavin " comic book serie , and OMH , not only is the comic book great , but his art is Fabulous !! Lineart seems traditional but according to his " tutorials " but gosh , so clean and i love his style . Not to mention the colourist with whom he works has a colouring style that fits his drawing style perfectly

Actually, yeah you're right. Depends on the artist.
Seems some ignore the fact that it looks fake, and others go crazy if it does.
And I have seen his art. It is pretty dang awesome.

I don't really like those who go crazy with digital linearts and colouring , altough sometimes it gives a very dynamic look to the drawings , but it's sort of " too much " :/
Pretty dang awesome indeed , his art is like the perfect balance , not too much to look exaggerated , but enough so you never forget it's digital , and gee , DAT DRAWING STYLE
