yeah i personally just think that alicorn OC's are indecisive like u cant pick if u want to be a unicorn pegasus oe earth pony. plus most alicons OC's iv come across are "relatives" of celestia and luna and dont have a back story at all. there are good ones tho like this one, she has a back story and a fun personality and is not perceived to be over powered or have some crazy over used reason to be in celestia and lunas family. i dont think there all bad but most iv come across all seem to be same thing over and over again.

ok just before i continue your comment mine wasnt a daughte rof luna her real mom is from an island where the lans disappeared and right as it disappeared Moonfeather the oc wa given to equestira, Luna took her in but when she turned 12 her and her friends found out about the island and returned it back to the state it was beafore.
Moonfeathe ris a princess but their was a war with equestria with the island and they all hated moonfeather because she wapart of the enemy. and she was a princess.

Β From this bio I can figure that Luna went and made her new colony from the orphans, but had duties in Equestria, so she helped Gari (whose wings wouldn't be visible in the cloak if she had 'em when she was older in the video) ascend so that she could protect them as Luna herself would, and centuries later, now it's called Baltimare and nopony knows why Gari never takes off that cloak, and she sure looks a lotΒ like her ancestor who wasΒ one of the founders...
