I finally got to meet my counselor today. It felt so so good to have absolution...after I got into the library, while on duty...I was inspired to doodle something similar to the idea above...the posted illustration is a more elaborate idea of the doodle I did at church...I wonder...if I am really trying to escape my responsibility...I hope I am not being complacent in my faith...both of which is a fear of mine...one of many....I don't know if it's my own self or a sign...I don't know...but I recalled when I attended a course in British Council...I was told to stop because I wasn't making the cut...but I was making progress...visible progress...so I learnt that...
1)sometimes things takes time
2) sometimes the Lord has other plans for us
3) sometimes you need to be brave to make a decision which will make a major change in your life, even if it means losing all that you have to follow Christ...which is worth it...
so I don't know which of the three is being shown to me...anyway...will phone the convent on Tuesday...God willing...

I have been having an emotional roller coaster....I haven't told my priest...I said to him that I wasn't ready to tell him...I need to find out myself first...
I have never been to that place so it's a little scary...

I really sympathize with your feelings, and I also have a question if you're ok to answer that. Are you calling there to learn more about religious life in general or about pursuing this actual order? I only ask because I haven't heard you mention about this in awhile so I'm not quite sure where you are on the whole thing yet, and that's totally ok, I'll just be praying for you that God will help you with whatever He plans.

Lol...Little Sisters of the Poor...I was asked to call a day before visiting..I DID NOT tell the nun about me wanting to discern...please pray for me that the nun won't 'kill' me...

by killing I mean..I told the nun I was just visiting and I didn't say I was discerning....hopefully she'll be kind enough to refer me to a mentor nun who can help me figure it out...

I'll be praying for you, and don't worry, I just know that the nuns will know how you feel. Probably a lot of them did the same thing as you, so just know it'll be ok
