Dayla knew that things were going down hill fast when she had fired her last bullet-- and what she had left of her gun, she tried to use as a club. The only thing that had saved her from her perilous situation was that she had killed so many of the aliens that many of them were starting to hesitate before they attacked. She would use this advantage to navigate between them.

Maybe, just maybe, she might make it to the Relay Station.

And if she did, she was going to give Markus a big earful about his, It's only a small infestation speech...
