For those of you who remember Fortuna, my OC from last round- this is her daughter! Can you see the family resemblance?

Tempestas is the father, of course

  Amare is the goddess of Love, as a good portion of you guessed. She has the ability to make humans fall in love with each other (in addition to... anything else in Tier 1). She can also has the ability to physically see "love", in all it's forms. It comes off as a sort of aura, depending on what kind of love it is. She can turn this vision on and off so it's not distracting. Her powers, like all gods, do not work on other gods. Despite this, she considers herself a Master Matchmaker and will try anyway. She is pretty good at figuring out good matches, however her efforts to hook them up usually end badly and ultimately delay the inevitable.

As the goddess of Humor and Laughter she has incredibly infectious laughter. It's not magic, it's just one of those laughs. She loves bad jokes like her father and the two of them given a punny opportunity are a nightmare. But unlike her father, when she's actually making an effort she's a really good comedian. Tempestas just sticks to the puns and anti-jokes.

Finally, she loves to dance! Her father as the god of Performance and her mother as the goddess of Song came together and produced the goddess of Dance! She know hundreds of dances, and can do a good portion of them. Her favorites are jazz, ballet and bolero. She has incredible balance, dexterity and rhythm- and like her laugh has an infectious energy that has a good record of getting people off their butts. If she concentrates really hard she can tell if somebody can dance and/or really wants to (at that moment).

Now... I'll explain what's going on in the Guess Who:

First, some background: Amare really looks up to her father. He is the god of Performance, he has a lot of stage presence and talent- and as a fellow performer she really aspires to be like him. She also thinks that magic tricks are really neat, and her father is (in essence) the god of that as well. Most, if not all of his magic tricks are actually tricks. He is very good at sleight of hand and thinks using actual magic isn't that impressive. So, it is actually very possible for Tempestas to teach Amare how to do a lot of what he does, even though it's not one of her governs.

Tempestas doesn't use this in tricks, but to stay in the spirit of things there are portals in every single one of his top hats. Gods create things called "warp points" by making a magic circle in their blood about the size they want the opening to be, and then it can be opened by them for the rest of time (on command). They are all connected, you simply have to tell it to open, and then tell it which other portal to connect to. It's very common for gods to have warps in pockets or purses and such so they can access things from their homes from anywhere. Tempestas wears top hats all of the time, so he thought it would be cute to make his hats into these access points.

With all that being said:

One day a couple of gods go missing. Ironically this is the same couple of gods that I said went missing in Fortuna (Profile) , they get lost a lot, apparently. Well this time they're somewhere in Tier 1, but no one knows where exactly. Well Amare locates them and decided that she'd go get them herself. It'd be fun! There were some other things going on but I won't go into detail...

Long story short she stole on of her father's hats. She can use the portal since she's related to him, and uses it to grab stuff in her room to pull out of the hat as a magician. She's having a lot of fun... except she didn't tell anybody she was gone. (They would have stopped her anyway, for reasons related to why the two other gods were missing in the first place.)

Her parents are freaking out (Tempestas has a panic attack and when that happens tornadoes also happen so that's kind of bad) until Fortuna sees the portal in Amare's room open.

So next time that happens she and Tempestas take animal forms (for disguise and also the hole in the hat is too small to fit a person anyway) and sit real close to the portal on their end. Amare pulls them out (her father first, then her mother) and only realizes when she's pulling out a cat that looks... and awful lot like her mother that she's... probably going to be grounded soon.

            *To put it in the simplest way possible, Tier 1 is the "human world", and Tier 2 is the "god world". Everything is proportionally bigger in Tier 2, so when a god goes down into Tier 1 they shrink themselves down to a proportional height- otherwise they would be huge.
