Description This time Skadi, Odin and Sleipnir!

Currently working on making the Skadi sketch a proper colored design, which reminds me to ask you guys: If I sold items with my Norse character designs on them would you be interested?

(Oh, and I might well be interested in Loki designs, depending on what the items were.)

Very nice!  I'm not a fan of Skadi and Odin (I side with Loki, always), but these are lovely and I can't help melting at the sight of Sleipnir.

Thankyou! I can't help but wonder why you only like Loki compared to everyone else lol, I mean I love him but I also love Skadi for her strength, strong opinions and her big ass balls to take on the entirety of Asgard because her father was killed by the gods, she has such a strong independence to me and I really admire that.

Oh, I can abstractly respect those qualities in Skadi, but I cannot dredge up any affection for someone who would put up a snake to drip acidic venom into Loki's eyes for eons.  (When I first discovered the Norse pantheon, I instantly fell for Loki, so anyone who's less than decent to him comes across to me as an enemy.  Which, in the end, is pretty much everyone but Loki's family.)

That makes sense to an extent, although Loki is less than decent to nearly everyone lmao.
I don't have very strong opinions on characters, so I find it interesting when someone else does, it's cool to see things from another person's point of view.

Granted, Loki is not all sweetness and light, but he benefits the Aesir as often as he complicates their lives, and I tend to see them as having started the feud by being cold and unwelcoming when Odin first brought Loki back to Asgard.  For the most part, the Aesir seem to take themselves far too seriously, which would make them irresistible targets to any trickster -- and since the original myths are told from the viewpoint of the Aesir, they naturally show the Aesir in a better light than anyone who crosses them.
