Ah the bloody nose trope thingie... Just remember the body has roughly 8 "Arms" full of blood.
But don't take my word on it... I would have to look up anime blood on TVtropes...
Also you are better at drawing the female figure than me... But I have yet to really apply to improving mine.

in anime the body has a LOT more blood. In one instance in Magical Pokaan, the blood stream is so huge that it actually ROCKETS THE GUY TOWARD THE SKY. it's blody hilarious.

id love to have an actual "art" class like i used to, the teacher i had last year had us making string art, i wanted to learn preportion and anatomy...
i can set everything up, i can shade, i can put everything in the corect place. however... i cant draw hands, feet or noses or corect preportions for "some" parts of the body.
iv downloaded "how to:" guides, they dont work well for me.

the "how to" guides are too often pretentious overblown useless stuff that won't learn you much if anything. I recommand "anatomy for fantasy artists" by Glenn Fabry and Cartoon Animation by Preston Blair.
Also check out [link] if you want to see what human musculature looks like and need reference.
The best thing is still to draw real people though. Try to get your friends naked.

Interesting fact: It seems that humanoid creatures with fur look ok with or without clothes... but for some ungodly reason, human body without fur tends to look... what to say... boring? XD
