Danni was always one of my favourites, and you've done an excellent job of portraying her as an adult.

I imagine Josh having been at risk for something dumb he did and Dani being worried about him, now happy to see he is alright (and then just angry enough to punish him for a month).
I'm glad I pulled off the age difference. She would only be around 5 years older than him, but since he is kind of a goof-off and she is very serious, she can look much older than him.

I think the trouble with Elixir was that they made him too powerful. Β If you have a guy who can heal anybody of any injury, alter their DNA as he chooses, etc. etc. etc. there is no logical danger so long as he can actually get to them. Β And if you take away the danger, then what? Β I think he was abandoned after Necrosha because nobody knew where to go with him. Β
It's too bad, as he was an interesting character. Β Power creep ruined him.

I half agree with you. But then, all of his classmates died, anyway... Mark died in his arms, even.
As long as they said he could do all those mollecular-level things, but he has to take his time to do them, he should be fine.
Or they should focus on his relationships. That was the way that New Mutants book was written. The powers could be small, or things we had seen before, but what mattered is how the kids interacted with each other, or how they found different ways to use their powers (like SofΓa using the wind to bring her sounds from afar, or teaming up with Laurie to have the wind carry her pheromones).

Either way, writers clearly had no idea where to go with him after Necrosha. Β And with the way Marvel treats its young heroes, the odds aren't great that he'll ever come out of limbo. Β

Josh was always a cute guy to see expand. And if there's one Marvel lady that's really head turning, Dani Moonstar is the one that really catches people's attention.

Ah, gotcha! While I would not mind see some parts of him expand, I had the feeling you did not mean that exactly, but I could not get what you meant.
Yes, I liked him most under Nunzio and Christina. Later plots would be "interesting" in the 90s shock value sense, but they could do better with him.

I do admit, I am just bi enough to find Danielle pretty attractive. I do wish they pulled through with the plans of her inheriting the leadership of the X-men.

At least she has been treated with respect this millennium. Even without powers, she is presented as someone who is able to pull her weight against many foes.

Around 2 months ago I started drawing quite a few pics. After a while, the inked lines were less "clean" and more "free", almost sketchy. You can see that in this pic, also in an unfinished Big Hero 6 pic I want to color soon.
After that, I told myself that it was okay to ink less pics but to do it better (I still could not color them as quickly, so there was no benefit in inking so many of them).
I still like how the faces look, and there are things I can only achieve when I try to free my hand. But I have to find a balance...
