I mean the composition - if you take it literally, it is just a white-haired girl in a black dress, nothing complicated.
But the author gave her so much depth in her facial expression, that sensitivity & tenderness, & the glow around her - he breathed life into her through simplicity
That's why in my eyes it is simple, yet very deep.
