Been a while since I've posted! It's been really busy so I'm glad that I'm finally able to get around to drawing again. This drawing was also to celebrate getting 1,000 likes on my facebook page, hooray!
It's inspired by the lovely, talented escume which inspired me to try something new after I saw a tutorial of hers! Definitely worth checking out her works, she is out of this world!

Thanks so much for the critique Juan! I actually find this critique probably as one of my favourites, because it's so realistic, critical and also very constructive. Looking in a different perspective, I really am struggling to find my style and develop it, and I really never noticed til now! I feel trying too many things does take a toll on my work and style, because it's hard to recognize and constantly changing. Though i guess diversity is good, maybe it is bad sometimes!

Nice drawing
maybe if you used photoshop or anotherprogram of the style you could add some textures and fill those " empty spaces " on the background so the drawing calls more for attention.
I recommend you flowers , clouds , splatters and rough textures/brushes.
The things that i liked the most are the eye expression and the fact that the girl has no arms .
I miss color , the face coloring is great , but the rest of the work seems plain to me
(even though maybe you wanted to express so)
overall is a great work , nice to see that people takes escume as a model to follow , she is great ¡.

This might seem wierd but I really like the yellow/gray scale of colors. What I find interesting in this image is the way our eyes are pushed towards the top of the drawing. As if gravity was pushed aside and we entered another dimension. Her eyes, probably thanks to her huge eyelashes, are kind of defying us... As if she was trying to see if we are brave enough for her. I really like the thousands of interpretations that come into my head. This is very inspiring, thank you for sharing.
