This is actually a painting I completed a few months back for a local art gallery which holds an annual "24 hour Blitz", where they give you a theme and you have 24 hours to create a work around that idea. It's definitely one of my most proudest/favourite pieces, because it's the painting that started taking my watercolour work in a slightly different direction. Hooray! (P.S, I made this piece my new icon/logo, whaddya think?)
So anyway, this years theme, was under "Fusion".
It's inspired by the idea of the whole nature vs. mankind discussion and about origins. To compare any animal or creature, for example, fish, we are so extremely and obviously different, but we are under the same sky, sharing that same ocean. We might live in the ocean, the land or sky. We may even talk, make noises, or make none at all. We may have limbs and arms, fins, or even wings.
We're from Two different worlds, but we share one Ocean.

I periodically come back to look at this painting because I love it so much. The fluidity of color, how you just let the color and pigment do their thing, the mixture of media....I love it all. so thanks for making art that inspires me to become better.

Hahaha I don't think i've had the guts to try and make or draw one other than the kingdom key, especially in high school. I felt i would distroy what's beautiful if i attempted, but i actually entered a contest to design a keyblade (i did two) based on a disney world SE hasn't used yet, and i won with one of them! I think i'm actually getting in the mood to make my own keyblade wielder design for my self!
HOOLY SHOOT! JUST WATCHED IT! I knew SE is going with a new engine for kh3 and the aqua and chi story and i didn't like the look of it for aqua, but i have to say it looks darn good for the chi story and the worlds in the aqua story!

I didn't get to make the keychain but it was suppose the be the wardrobe.

EEEEEE i can't wait! I hope to have the money to buy the system and game, including the new ff game. The biggest concern have for the kh game is that the screen isn't blocked by all the special effects, sometime i find myself lost in all the comotion. It'll like i'm just swing crazily and hoping the hits land. And it takes away from the experience of combat. It really irritating.

That's actually so true. I swear half the time i play KH i'm just button mashing/spamming in hopes of killing because i ahve no clue what is happening with all the effects

YES! ME TOO! I find myself hitting air because I still haven't realized I already pulverized the heartless. Or even locked on swinging maniacally missing them. And from what I see from the trailers we may have the same issue. I wish there was a settings option to control how much of the screen it takes.
