I once had a nightmare where I was stalked by some creepy looking man that looked a TINY bit like Kate (minus the hoodie, mask and running after you) and he also had bloodstains on his arms but they looked like his arms were ripped off, allowed to bleed all the way down the limb, then stuck back on but no bloodstains on the torso or abdomen. I still consider the nightmare where this creepy stalker appeared in the worst nightmare of all of the ones I had. And if this creepy man appeared in any movie or game (game is more likely) and behaved the same way he did in my nightmare, I'd be terrified that the stalker from my nightmare is in reality (in some way) now.

I couldn't. In the nightmare I was lost in New York, a place that I'm HUGELY unfamiliar with (Especially since I don't live in the US). My parents didn't exist in the dream but my sibling did but I got separated from him in the dream, so I was alone, lost and trapped in an unfamiliar place; unable to reach for help. Also when we dream, the part of our brains that calculate logic isn't active while we sleep, so that's why in dreams the weirdest things blend in just fine when we're sleeping. Of course this part of the brain is active when we are awake and we see the situations and creature as unusual when remembering what happened in the dream.
