WORKSHOP: I Can Draw Anything!
“An Affordable Alternative to Art School”
In this concept cookie workshop we focus on strengthening your fundamentals and getting you familiar and confident with working in digital art. I will take an aggressive look with you on addressing how you “see” form and subject matters as well as working to actively develop a “visual eye”. At the end of this workshop you should take away a different perspective on the actual process of creating your pieces and be comfortable in being able to say, ” I Can Draw Anything!”
This workshop will include weekly assignments, livestreams, quizzes and personal grading to give the time and attention each student deserves to further develop their understanding of the material and skill set.
Instructor: Tim Von Rueden
Tim is currently the site manager and concept artist for Concept Cookie.

The site says that there will be live streams, will those live streams be recorded for reference later?

Do you have an example of critique or assignment that you've given in the past? I'm kind of tempted, but I'm finding it hard to decide whether it would be useful to me or not from the description.
Also, would this workshop ever repeat with the assignments and critique afterwards, or is this the last chance to get this particular one?

Do we have to have PS for this? Is SAI out of the question?

Sai and PS work generally the same and besides....Cs2 is free on the adobe website and works just as well as cs3 or 4.

I've used both, I'm fully aware of what the differences and similarities are. My question is whether or not we have to have PS for this specific workshop to be effective. There are several tools that are different or missing from one program or the other, and that doesn't even go into the differences between different versions of PS.

After taking a look to their FAQ, they do say that you don't need to use PS and that what they teach you should be generic enough that you can use any program.
