Oops I forgot to mention in my reply comment that you also create different ships using those design elements. My bad. last time I wrote a long comment an error occurred so I rushed a little so an posting error doesn't occur.

Okay, I understand, but isn't that also what happens in naval ships? So what's wrong with that? It's only logical that ships from a navy from a specific faction looks a lot like each other.
Google these US ship classes and compare them.
Ticonderoga-class cruiser
Arleigh Burke class destroyer
Kidd class destroyer
Oliver Hazard Perry class frigate
Halifax-class frigate
Barbaros class frigate
They do vary, but they basicly are still all the same. The only thing that does stand out is when you compare it to an Aircraft Carrier or WWII-era ships.

You use a similar designing technique I used when I build Lego starships. Basicly you have identify the basic unsc ship design elements and you just update or replace those element designs with even better ones. I notice element similarities with the halcyon class cruiser so it resulted in my first comment about this ship.

Too much similarities between it and the halcyon class cruiser but then again, if it is named after Jacob Keyes then it might as well.

Too much similarities? It's completely different. The Halcyon has a straight middle section, has a lot less bulky parts, has a completely different engine and just looks completely different. Also, its not named after Jacob or Miranda Keyes.

They're there. Small cannons. Not the same as the Perseus, but still effective.
