Its an old model, and yes then it was just a Halcyon class but slightly changed. I will change this model once I have more time.

so if its a refit, what has been changed other then what looks like more armor? also if its a refit why change the name?

More armor, different weapons, different reactor and engines and internally things have changed significantly. And its more of a redesign then a refit. Refit would mean the old ship gets updated and then it would indeed keep the same name. What happened here is that they changed several things and made it a different class. So both the Merloit and Halcyon classes would still be made.

Indeed, though perhaps I will redesign it before the final release. I'm not too happy about certain things about it.

i think its good the way it is, you sould keep it, i kind of like the upgrade idea. if keyes had this ship in halo one i think he could have fought of the covenant. oh on the subject of covenant, i was looking through some of your other amazing creations, and i saw your mention of the flagship from first strike. i was wondering if that was near future project or one that may be some time. either way your ships are amazing. they would be the pride of anyones navy.
