Description
I've done mostly cell shading when it come to making illustrations, so I tried a more tonal style of shading. I drew him on paper without the Corona Arm, inked him with a micron pen, scanned him into photoshop for line touch ups, coloring, and special effects. Sol is the main character for an untitled project I have been pondering up. I have submitted a previous drawing with a description of his world and his powers, but his appearance has changed a bit and may continue to change slightly.

Having Sun-based powers, his aura acts like the Sun's corona. Full of magnetic, burning energy, that magnetic field can concentrate the aura into a "Corona Arm", similar to how the Sun has magnetism-induece coronal loops, essentially giving him an extra appendage that can punch, grab, stretch, etc.
