"I can work!""I'm fit and ready for anything!"
After three years in Felsgrund Labor Camp Karin and Liesel never worked light duty at the visitors center, instead, they were designated as "Available Labor." Early every morning they lined up with hundreds of other women outside the barracks and begged to be on a labor detail-- any detail-- be it breaking rocks, pushing carts, or unloading lumber. If they worked, they were fed. When they didn't work, they spent all day standing in line outside or marching around the camp, and they got nothing to eat.
Karin and Liesel haven't worked-- or eaten-- for two days. They are very hungry and are eager to take any job.

I'm not really able to do that. I haven't even done any real drawing myself recently. I can, however, give a little free advice.
If you can, use plain white paper (drawing or copy paper are examples) for any drawings you think you might want the world at large to see. Avoid lined notebook paper if you can. Make sure every drawing can be seen to its best potential.
The more you draw, the better you get. At least I hope I'm getting a little better.

Prisoners there have those shackles locked around one ankle especially so they can be chained to one another or have a weight attached as punishment, or to prevent escape. True enough, Karin and Liesel here are going to have to work very hard to make up for lost productivity!

If there are to many women in the camp, why not put the
surplus ones in the gas chamber?
You can always arrest new girls, if you need more labors later on!

Felsgrund has just the amount of female prisoners that it needs, all of them carefully selected before transport for their attractiveness and strength. Although, it's an operational labor camp, Felsgrund is most of all the leading tourist attraction in the Germanic Confederation. What all these tourists come to see is controlled suffering, women pushed to the limit, struggling, used and abused, but still looking pretty hot. It's like actually walking around inside the world of "Chainganggirls."
Of course, that doesn't mean the prisoners life is easy. Women like Karin and Liesel here face starvation, whippings, and humiliations daily, even though the actual death rate is very low. There have been some actual hangings (also an attraction for which a certain few pay big money.) But the gas chamber isn't operational. It was de-activated after World War 2 and now has only three walls so visitors can see inside without actually having to go in (a couple of people had suffered panic attacks.)
Even if their suffering is managed for effect, Karin and Liesel are legitimately hungry right now, and would, without hesitation work at some truly hard and hazardous labor...

Thanks. Hunger is a great motivator! Karin, prisoner 275 on the left, knows this very well by now. Liesel (310) is doubly distressed. She's starving and, as an added punishment for something or other she did or didn't do, she hasn't been issued a striped dress, cap, and wooden clogs yet even though the weather is getting cold...
