Description
For a personal project to categorize the Digimon in evolution charts. All evolutions are straight lines, where the Digimon evolve through normal means.This one is Pichimon, who belongs to a family of Savers of the Deep Blue! Behold the vast strength and spirit of the ocean!
Based off of the Pendulum V-Pet, version 2: [link]
Pichimon -> Bukamon -> Gomamaon / Crabmon / Syakomon
Gomamon ->Ikkakumon -> Zudomon -> Vikemon
Gomamon -> Dolphmon -> Whamon -> MarineAngemon
Crabmon -> Ebidramon -> Scorpiomon -> Plesiomon
Crabmon -> Coelamon -> Divermon -> Surfimon
Syakomon -> Octomon -> Dragomon -> Pukumon
Syakomon -> Gesomon -> MarineDevimon -> Leviamon

Oh, get over it. It's as close to canon as anything in Digimon other than the main lines gets.

Yeah. He and Divermon look pretty alike, don't they? Thematically they make sense too; a scuba-diving fishman into a surfing sharkman? Yeah, that works all right. So I thought anyway.

Whamon in the waters near File Island are Champion-level, yeah, but Digimon on File Island also can't evolve past Ultimate level, so I see this as a compression of Whamon's true data size or something techy like that. Since my lines are for Baby-to-Mega lines (assuming Folder Continent or other areas of the Digital Wolrd), Whamon is treated as an Ultimate, as he is in most recent official materials.

If this is true, then explain Andromon and Monzaemon being on File Island.

There are a bunch of other (larger) Ultimate-level Digimon you could have mentioned to make that argument stronger. >3> MetalGreymon, Megadramon (the megabyte digimon) etc.)
But, that's because there CAN be Ultimate-level Digimon on File Island. It's just that Ultimate is the highest stage any Digimon reach on File Island. Also Andromon and Monzaemon are smaller than Whamon (usually) so their being ultimate can make sense.
File Island is just a simplified version of things, like how the original V-pets only went to the Ultimate level. When we started hitting Mega level (IE Server continent and rest of the Digital world and stuff), Whamon expands to a higher level and Digimon start being able to evolve.
Or something like that.
That's more or less how Bandai explains it I think.

leviamon is a demon lord and can evolve from gomamon sorry if i wasn't very clear i've a very bad habit of that...

Oh. Well sure, Leviamon can evolve from a lot of aquatic Digimon. I just decided to go with MarineDevimon as his prevo due to his ties to the other demon lords like Daemon.

Well in a sense sorta yah they really do but in another sense not so really, I mean Divermon is a different sort of creature compared to this Mega Level wonder of surfing awesomeness that sorta looks like an Aquatic Mega for Veemon and all but yeah i do have to say you set this up nicely and rather accurately i think

That's true, and I can see how you would get Veemon from that... Although if 'different sort of creature' is your issue, there are many worse violations than that on this chart... A lot of people have complained about Scorpiomon -> Plesiomon, haha.
The thing about Digimon, though, is that they're basically living packets of data... They don't have to look like the same sort of creature on the outside so long as they are similar on the inside, that's the way I look at it.

You sorta have it right there cause I wouldnt see much point if you cant accept whats on the inside that counts much more in most circumstances at that
Yeah though I thought Plesiomon could be achieved another way then going through that idea of Scorpiomon, after all it is Gomamon's Mega Level Beast Form, in comaparision to Vikemon is Beast Warrior Mega Level Form but yeah^^" the head most likely made me think of Veemonbut even so its a cool Digimon sorta like many others
