Description
For a personal project to categorize the Digimon in evolution charts. All evolutions are straight lines, where the Digimon evolve through normal means, or through Spirit Digivolution.This one is Pururumon, who evolves into powerful lines of bird warriors!
Pururumon -> Poromon / Chicchimon
Poromon -> Hawkmon -> Aquilamon -> Silphymon -> Valkyrimon
Poromon -> Hawkmon -> D'Arcmon -> Hippogryphomon -> Murmuxmon
Chicchimon -> Hyokomon -> Buraimon -> Butenmon -> Chronomon
Chicchimon -> (Spirit Evolution) Kazemon -> Zephyrmon -> AncientKazemon

I kinda like this format a little better than the tradicional one.
Except for the lack of a "junk" evolution.
That reduces the dificulty a little too much.

Well there are only so many Digimon that are concretely considered to be 'junk' evolutions, and I just wanted to have the junk guys be specific to the in-training trees that they appear in their respective V-pets. Thus, most other evo trees don't have junk evolutions.Β
I like to imagine that this reflects Digimons' genomes becoming more streamlined and sophisticated, making it less likely for them to produce a weak evolution. o3o Know what I mean?Β

Ah yeah, that's a good point. I suppose he's the only real newer junk evolution I can think of, aside from Damemon or whatever the guy from XW/Fusion is called.

Darcmon -> Hippogriffomon -> Murmukusmon - I know that's canon from Frontier, but I see Darcmon as champion level of Salamon and she digivolves to Angewomon.
Bird -> angel -> mythical beast - for me, that's awkward.

Is that any more awkward thanΒ Salamon's original line? o3o dog -> cat -> angel -> dragon?
...or maybe it doesn't matter, because the core data is the same....? ~3~
Incidentally, I don't really care about frontier's take on it, but it IS kind of hard to ignore that Murmuxmon literally looks like a demonic mashup of the previous two forms.
Still, I am considering other ways to use these two.Β

Salamon's line is the most awkward.
Now, Angewomon can digivolve to Ophanimon, too.
For Hippogriffomon's mega form Gryphonmon would be better than Murmukusmon.
One question more:
When you use hybrid digimon, why you should put their fusion form instead of anicent forms?
For example: JetSilphymon instead of AncientKazemon.

I don't really think Salamon's line is awkward; the shapes differ, but that doesn't really matter because the core data (holy light and whatnot) is the same between all of them. But yeah, Ophanimon is kind of the retconned 'official' Mega for Angewomon now and stuff I know.Β
Uggh, I do NOT like Gryphonmon as an evolution for Hippogryphomon though. It works, sure, but it's not one of the best options for either of them IMO.Β
For me, the Fusion forms are equivalent to the Ultimate level like the Beasts are; Fusions are just a stronger Ultimate, if you want to think of it that way. I went with the Human -> Beast -> Ancient format because it's the only one that uniformly works for all ten/eleven Hybrid species. For mine, the Fusion would be a slide from the Beast stage, and the Transcendant stages like EmperorGreymon and MagnaGarurumon would evolve from THEM. But, not all of the hybrids even have a Fusion stage.Β

How I know, fusion forms are mega equivalents.
True, only six hybrids have fusion forms (btw, ice fusion form is, just, so ridiculous).
Hybrid digimon, alongside with armor digimon, confuse about level. Xros digimon doesn't have levels, and that's just pathetic for me, really.

Yeah that's why I'm trying to avoid the Xros Digimon like the plague in my charts. Any attempt to put them into lines like mine is purely conjecture, unlike my stuff, which at least attempts to base itself in pre-existing logic and patterns.Β

Understand one thing about these; they're certainly not the ONLY evolutions for these Digimon, they're just the evolutions that I perceive as being the best or 'most official' or whatever.
