Description
For a personal project to categorize the Digimon in evolution charts. All evolutions are straight lines, where the Digimon evolve through (mostly) normal means.Studies into Digimon genomes have revealed that young Digimon can undergo elemental mutations when raised in a specific biome. When doing so, the Digimon's coding is completely scrambled, resulting in completely different types of Digivolutions! These Digimon subspecies possess statistical abilities equal to those of their counterparts, yet the attacks they use and the Digivolutions they undergo are completely different.
Tsunomon -> Psychemon : when Tsunomon is raised in wide open plains, meeting Gabumon's evolution requirements.
Tsunomon -> ViElecmon : when Tsunomon is raised in a dark or mountainous environment, meeting Elecmon's evolution requirements.
Psychemon -> ShimaUnimon -> Mammothmon -> SkullMammothmon
Psychemon -> NiseDrimogemon -> Tekkamon -> Reapermon
ViElecmon -> Gururumon -> WereGarurumon -> Merukimon
ViElecmon -> MudFrigimon -> Jagamon -> MetalEtemon
Psychemon / ViElecmon -> BomberNanimon -> Kimeramon -> VenomMyotismon

If you like, I suppose. I rarely do the champion junk or spherical Digimon into the Ultimate level tiny guys, though. Historically the latter always evolve from regular Champions and whatnot. Still, I can understand why the Kimeramon thing would seem weird x__X It was mainly derived from the Kimeramon card that evolves from Nanimon.Β

Excited for it, of course. A TINY bit bitter that going back to Adventure seems to be the only thing Bandai/Toei feel they can do with Digimon to get people excited for it anymore (because they're right-- though that's more the fault of the fans than them, I s'pose), but chiefly excited. TBH based on what we've seen so far I'm sort of expecting it to be more focused on the kids and less on the monsters, but of course that remains to be seen. I'm expecting it to take a different approach, and looking forward to finding out what that could be.Β

You'd be correct. o3o Actually I photoshopped Gururumon a bit more, he usually looks practically identical to Garurumon so I photoshopped him to set him apart a bit more by giving him the colors of Psychemon's fur.Β

Will you do evo lines for Olympos XII?
Not for Dianamon and Apaollomon, because everybody knows their evo lines.
I think that you used Neptunemon, Merukimon and Marsmon.
I have suggestion for Venusmon: Cupimon -> Puttimon -> Darcmon -> Sanzomon -> Venusmon.
Plutomon surely have dark evo line.
Many people connect Jupitermon with OmegaShoutmon and MetallifeKuwagamon.
For Junomon, I don't have any ideas, because she is new digimon.
And, I really don't know how Minervamon evo line looks like, mostly because there is Mervamon.
Ceresmon can go with plant digimon.
For Bacchusmon I don't have any ideas.
Vulcanusmon - I only have ideas for champion level -> Digmon or Drimogemon and rookie -> Gotusmon.

The Olympianmons, huh? Yeah I had a few lines for them, although I'm a bit behind some of them... like this is the first I've heard of Bacchusmon and Junomon .-. Jeez man I don't even know how to keep up with all the freakin' Megas they're making up for this nonsense, especially when they won't make prevos for them x___X But uh... if I recall... my ideas for those guys are as follows. Mostly they're just all my potential ideas; most wouldn't work together due to repeats obviously and stuff
- Ignitemon -> Targetmon -> Gokuwmon -> Vulcanusmon/KingEtemon or something
- Ignitemon -> Kinkakumon -> Sagomon -> Neptunmon/Vulcanusmon
- Tinkermon -> Ginkakumon -> Cho-hakkaimon -> MervamonΒ
(^ This idea I liked because it links both Ignitemon+Mervamon and (K/G)inkakumon as siblings.)
- Hawkmon/Tinkermon -> D'Arcmon -> Sanzomon -> Venusmon
- Tinkermon -> Petermon -> CaptainHookmon -> Neptunmon
- Swimmon -> ??? -> Mermaimon -> Neptunmon
- Swimmon -> ??? -> Sirenmon -> Ceresmon
(Swimmon evolves from Falcomon's in-training stage, meaning it probably has latent bird DNA; thus the Sirenmon/Ceresmon thing kinda makes sense)
And uh, that's about all I've really thought of. Haven't had any ideas for Jupitermon/Plutomon/Junomon yet.
Though heck, now that I look at Bacchusmon, Orochimon might make a good prevo for him. Snakelike body and drinking addiction are all I've got to go on with that tho lol.

Just one thing which confuses me: Minervamon is official member of Olympos XII. Mervamon is her subspecies and she is also member of Olympos XII. I'll never understand that.
In Digimon masters, Swimmon digivolve to Tylomon, so maybe, you could put Tylomon, if you want.
I suggest Sistermon for Ceresmon line. I know that's not good choice.
Plutomon is dark digimon and he is rival of Olympos XII, so you could use Impmon or Dracmon or BlackAgumon or... I don't know.
Maybe it's fan theory, but I can see MetallifeKuwagamon as prevo of Jupitermon. But, still, MLK is bug digimon.
Junomon... She is Jupitermon's partner and goddess, so Witchmon and LadyDevimon can't go in her evo line. I hope that her line won't include angels, because she is not really pretty or angelic. I don't know.
And, yeah, I agree for Orochimon as prevo of Bacchusmon. That can work.
Neptunemon is good. I like line with Swimmon, but line with Tinkermon is also good.
Venusmon is good. For Vulcanusmon, I don't want to say anything, because that digimon is hard to connect with others. I just have for him: Gotsumon -> Monochromon -> Volcamon -> Vulcanusmon, but I know that is a cliche.
So, at the end, Apollomon and Dianamon are the only ones who has the good lines. And, you did Marsmon with GrapLeomon as his prevo, and that's good.

I dunno I guess they just wanted to make a sexy version of Mineveramon. ~__~ I think Mervamon is cool, but Minervamon was fine as she was, IMO =3= *shrug*
Swimmon has plenty of potential Armor Digivolutions to go with, so I'll probably do that; but as far as the chart project goes, I was treating Armor Digimon like an extra 3rd evolution for each Rookie. x___X So that means I still need 2 more non-armor champions for Swimmon by my self-imposed rules. Dx Which is a problem because there just aren't any more. x___x Thus why I decided to go to the web project lol....
MetliKuwagamon being an insect isn't a problem IMO, but the fact that he's pretty solidly in Ko/TyrantKabuterimon's line is for me. Although I suppose it's a possibility. My problem is that I've already placed most Digimon into the charts before Jupter/Pluto/Juno and all these other jokers came around; I've accounted for all the lower forms but now there's a surplus of Megas thanks to Fusion/XW and all that nonsense. =w=
I DO quite like Orochimon -> Bacchusmon. I was having trouble fitting Orochimon in anyway, so I'll probalby go with that~
Gotsumon's Meteormon line could also work for Vulcanusmon, but I usually try to stick with Digivolution lines that are of relatively the same chronology (creation period, in other words). For instance, even though the Journey to the West Digimon officially evolve from Apemon (Gokuwmon), Possumon (Cho-Hakkaimon) and Tortomon (Sagomon). I usually avoid evos like these because the Digimon have very different design aesthetics, which I interpret as different types of 'coding' as DNA that would otherwise be incompatible with each other. Thus, I'll instead do lines like Targetmon -> Gokuwmon, Kinkakumon -> Cho-Hakkaimon and Ginkakumon -> Sagomon. It's just my interpretation, though.
The Marsmon line was actually in DW3, taken straight from it. o3o I just used it because I think it works haha. No worries about the grammar.
