I recently posted some designs for this fellow in my scraps, and I figured I'd clean my favorite one up a bit so that I could get a color scheme down for him
I like it at the the moment, but that might change once I get used to looking at it. I wanted to stay away from blue, since Rick has a lot of blue in his design, and the red and green theme is what Jojo used, so that helps me to tie the designs together a little. For now, this'll be it!
For those who don't know him, this fellow's name is Jasper Armand Wilde, but he likes to go by a stage name of 'Jam'. I designed him to be someone for Rick to fight in the Circuit, and also to update my old kangaroo character Jojo, and make him less Sonic-like. Jojo is still around and I'll still draw him from time to time, but I think Jam will fit the world better
He's not a major character, but I really grew fond of his design while I was making him, so I think I'll look for excuses to use him more. Considering that I've yet to do any proper pictures of Rick fighting, he might make for a good 'test dummy', as it were.Some information on him:
-His fighting style is Wrestling, kind of leaning towards Pro Wrestling with a lot of suplexes and elbow strikes as opposed to holds. So, basically, video game wrestling!
-He's adopted, and his folks don't know that he fights as a hobby. He's out of high school, but he still lives under their roof for lack of a steady income.
-He's a kangaroo! Not sure if that's obvious or not...
-He treasures his family and goes to great lengths to make them proud of him and to prove they've made him a stronger individual.
-Despite looking tough, he's a real softie at heart and almost never fights outside of the ring, if he can help it.

I find that the design of this character to be rather interesting. He pulls off his tough appearance well with his expression and stance. With his bandanna, gloves and wrappings around his feet on he looks like he is ready for a fight too. The unique quality about him that his middle toes are different from his outer toes is a nice touch. The red and green colored clothing used together sort of gives off a Christmasy feel but that is just my opinion. I look forward to seeing more of your artwork.

So far, this is an interesting character design! I see you removed the navel, though...
The schnozz is a nice shape, and the ear bling is a good touch. My eyes always travel to the feet, though...and the design confuses me a little. How would that feel, having one big middle toe? *is almost tempted to tie some toes together to test it for myself*
The Chad Muska fingerless gloves or however they're called, and that bandana...they're an interesting color. Green and brown do seem to complement each other, but maybe you could experiment with some different shades of green? Maybe it's the "lighting," maybe I'm just talking out my ass, but that color green either seems too barf-colored. Perhaps a brighter color.
You kept the arm tat too. Still nice.

I like the color scheme so far, though I'm guessing you're still working on it. Either way, I think he looks pretty good so far, I like green gloves and hat and the mismatching toe colors. So far, I can't really find any complaints against this, just good job on it.
