Well, it doesnt't take so much money to MAKE one of these. Some skill is required, but that can be learned sipmly by experimenting - as we did learn, matter of fact!

The details on this are beautiful. I love the dark leather. and I really like the metal plates in the corners of the book. I think it makes it look complete, instead of just looking like the gears in the middle are just stuck on.

Oh, the glued up gears, randomly thrown on the item's surface, seem to become a noisome problem of steampunk craft - so popular the idea!
