Description
Here is something different from what i usually draw. I decided to draw this one because my nephew is a big fan of pokemon and watches it every chance he gets. Most pokemons are animals so i thought id try and give one of them a bit of realism. This is my interpretation of what this one would look like in real life. Pokemon fans, don't hurt me if you don't think it looks like the one from the show. My goal was mainly to get the right look on the hair. I didn't spend much time on the grass so it doesn't have much realism, it was mainly for effect and depth. Maybe ill try drawing other pokemons in the future, hope you like this one. Update:
Well i changed the eyes a bit and made them to look more like the eyes of a fennec fox. The problem with doing these kinds of drawings is that its difficult to keep the look of the original character. Once you start going realistic you start to lose the cuteness and happiness from the cartoons. This drawing is an interpretation of what i think it would look in real life. I wanted it to be recognizable as a Pokemon but wanted it to have a bit of realism, so some of the charm from the show is lost.
