Well, it's just that he looks almost exactly like that in Kessen I, a fairly decent game by Koei about the Battle of Sekigahara. (Don't play Kessen II, the plot is so bloody inane! I don't know what they were high on at the time! Kessen III's pretty good though)

Ah, I played that game a long time ago but only for a few hours. I was expecting something like Dynasty Warriors, so I moved on pretty quickly from it. Anyways, I learned about the horned/antler decorations before I learned who Tadakatsu was (and his signature helmet). Always thought that was a cool design, so it frequently appears in my armor designs.
