Been crazy-busy with my new freelance gig and my regular job is going through some business as well...not much time to work on other things, I'm afraid -___-... Had to stay in form a bit though and had a short bit of time this afternoon, so yeah... about 25-30min. total, real quick, filled out the form fast and tinkered with the colors.Related content

I like to think of it as a sliding scale hehe. Β There's some artists out there that just blow me away with what they can do in 30min., it's pretty insane and something for me to shoot for hehe

For myself those moments are pretty fleeting. On occasion I'll think for a short bit "that's pretty good, not too bad!" and then shortly after I think "...but I can do better, gotta keep tryin'!"
I guess I'm never fully satisfied with where my art is, I mean overall I'm happy with it but I always find points where I have to work on more, sections to improve.

I like the use of black in this, definitely makes the shadow stand out so much more.

It serves a dual purpose of pushing the form out more as well as hiding some of the gestures, so your mind has a place that it thinks is solid and the rest of the messiness feels a bit more natural hehe
