[8/5/2009] I redid this one because I felt it just didn't look like the rest of the backgrounds for the short - I like it a lot better now

So I thought i would show you another layout from and my short animation coming out in April.

I wish I could spend more time on these layouts but they're only on screen for a second or two so not like anyone can study them.

This is amazingly well designed and painted... so much so that I want to live there in that tree
You mentioned not having very much time, so I don't know if you'll be able to revisit this. But if so, I would reconsider the forground element. I like the contrast of it, but its very straight in comparison to everything else. Just a suggestion.

Layout is my long lost love,......when ever i think of layout io think of that scene from last of the mohicans where hes telling her he loves her under the water fall. "stay alive no matter what occurs" all over dramtically lol
anyway, stunning colours and great use of atmosphere and focal point

oh this landscape is absolutely gorgeous!
i love how deep it goes, aswell as the pastel colors
but it's a bit bothersome how dark it look on the sides though, but i guess it can't be helped
