Spadoinkle and hello, all!Let's see... where to start...where to start....
What can I say about SA-styled coloring? It's overdone, it's overused, and it's overly simple to pick out of a crowd. I have seen SA-style in every media; Digital, Flash, Colored Pencil, etc....except ONE media. No one has attempted SA-style in MS Paint. Or pixelated at all, for that much. I took it upon myself, being a spriter for years now, to assign this challenge to myself. After 3 days of perfecting it, I came up with this. Sure, the pose idea is questionable, but it's the ability to pixelate SA-style coloring I was after. Perhaps I could give courage to other spriters to take up pixelating SA-style artwork. I sure as hell gave it a go...and I'm Mr. Procrastination.

Finally, somebody freakin' did it! I've been trying for weeks now and it never came out right, because I too only have MS Paint and GIMP which wasn't all that much help.

Rockin'! I think the pose suits Sonic pretty well, actually... he's always been one for odd bendy poses after all! I really like the shoes for some reason, they look exceptionally cartoony.

Pixel art of any style absolutely amazes me, but this greatly stands out. Some of the shading around the shoes and gloves don't even look like they were done in ms paint at all 
I'd have to say it's a great idea, and you it definately seems you pulled off everything you wanted to - especially the SA Style coloring. Everything about this particular piece is original, the first of its time!

You did an awesome job, Alex ^^ It just goes to show that alot can be accomplished even with MS Paint. You did a great job pulling off the SA style in a pixelated art piece like this. Sonic's pose looks cool, too. It's definately original. XD
