Description
"It was a terrible, indescribable thing vaster than any subway train – a shapeless congeries of protoplasmic bubbles, faintlyself-luminous, and with myriads of temporary eyes forming and un-forming as pustules of greenish light all over the tunnel-filling front that bore down upon us, crushing the frantic penguins and slithering over the glistening floor that it and its kind had swept so evilly free of all litter.
— H. P. Lovecraft, At The Mountains of Madness"
How do you draw that which has no form. That which is simply said, a swirling mass of jaws and eyes moving and changing like an amoeba.
No a drawing cannot comprehend the horror this creature holds. It certainly doesn't do justice to the real thing. But it still dwells there, deep under the mountains, waiting to be dug up once again...

Nice, very nice. I'm making a shog-sona and this'll be of great inspiration, though she will be black as tar and her eyes will be white.

:shudder: that is so much a Shoggoth. My GMs have used them many times. Nasty things. Your image does convey that quite well.

ty, yes nasty things they are, i think they're portrayed really well in the videogame Call of Cthulhu dark corners of the earth.
Never played the RP though, I just study the mythos and read the books concerning it

Thanks man
Yes, cave was easier to draw anyway
Though I still wanted to draw some pillars in there since they were described within the story, but ohwell.
