Description
This is a rather wordy title compared to what I usually employ in my titling conventions, but I think it's fitting for the subject material. I do find it interesting how much I focused on the blacks and whites as a predominant theme rather than focusing on the colors. This thing was also a maaaaajor pain to frame...and unfortunately finding a way to frame it required trashing veeery cool concepts that were in previous versions of this. Ah well..EDIT: Fullview please. DA resize makes everything too blurry at any views other than full view, and the details on this make it look a lot better!

Fractals are fun...but they also can be unwieldy to manage at times too! I'd be happy to lend a hand if there's anything you have questions about or would be interested in learning.

I've never shattered Christmas decorations, so I really can't say I know what it looks like :3 I'm glad you like the color choices and composition; that's something I think I've improved on a lot since many years ago, but still is something I feel like I constantly struggle with to this day.

It's always a privilege to hear that my artwork is appreciated by people, regardless of their affiliations with abstract artwork 
I try to use abstract as a way of approximating concepts on an emotional level; they're my way to try to convey the power and atmosphere that one can see in amazing digital paintings in a more chaotic, less structured way. While I'd love to be able to do digital painting, I'd still be doing this right along side of it if I was able to do so.

I think epic probably is overused on the internet as a whole.
That being said, I do attempt to create things that I think look "epic" (with varying levels of success ... ) as a standard, because I want to see the things that I make spark emotion, energy, and ideas for myself, if not also for those who enjoy the artwork I've made in the past

I think the beauty is in the balance of chaos and order.
If you just have chaos, nothing would make any sense. Conversely, if you just have order, then you don't allow any doubt, uncertainty, or curiosity to occur. Both of these are necessary, even if one element edges out over the other slightly. I prefer creating content that is chaotic, but the creation process is mostly establishing order from a chaotic medium.

You captured the thought of annihilation quite well; the blackest smoke, the smoldering orange flames, the apparently shifting winds of the tan hue all work together perfectly. Marvelously done!
