...in snow?!?!?! I mean seriously, earlier this week it took 45 minutes to drive to work...instead of 10....why do people suck at driving in the snow so much? Iunno, I really couldn't think of a title for this. I mean, my best associations with this are to the moon, fire ice, and some type of concrete/steel structure. The color scheme seems reminiscent to something but I can't really determine what...Anyway, this is experiment #2 with a new variation, and I'm really liking what it's able to do so far, and it's super easy for me to use and offers a lot of flexibility for my own stylistic shenanigans. I can't wait to see what else it will be able to do...I have a few things lined up to submit but I'm not totally happy with them yet, so I'll polish them up and submit them later tomorrow or Saturday or something!

I don't use any brushes in what I create... this is purely a fractal ;o
That being said, texture has always been something I find fascinating in artwork, and love trying to incorporate in what I make. Although I do try drawing things from time to time, nothing comes even fractionally close to what I can do with fractals...

You are seriously one of my favorite artists on here. I love your work. This one is so reminiscent of Picasso and Van Gogh. Picasso in the sense of the cubist style that you have going on in this piece but with the chaotic brush strokes of Van Gogh, I don't know if that was your intention but that's what I noticed. A very interesting piece for sure.

Van Gogh has always been one of my favorite artists, due in part to the awesome textures and brushstrokes he uses in his artwork. I try to keep a quality of texture present in my artwork as much as I can, although some types of fractals aren't as easy to have texture as "dense" and prevalent as this particular fractal does. While I do enjoy Picasso's cubist style, I do not look at his artwork as frequently, nor find as much attachment to it, as I do with Van Gogh. I don't find Picasso's art driving my own artistic style (directly, at least); I just found that this combination of shapes looked interesting and went with it xD

For the most part, I try to stick away from ultra "geometric" fractals, and this is a bit more geometric than most of what I do. That being said, I loved how the textures and colors worked in this, and find that the textures and shaped worked pretty well. Pretty well...actually this has become one of my favorite things I've made, though far from the top of that list xD

This is an interesting difference; it makes it appear almost like plaster, or maybe pastel work... Anyhow, you did wonderfully with it. Fantastic job!

The appearance of this was strongly governed by 9999 gamma. If it was a bit less, you'd be able to see more of the structure it has a bit more clearly. It's only comprised of two non-final transform variations, I think, one of them being linear XD I'm still seeing what the variation I used is able to do, and am trying to make it even more flexible to do interesting things that help me during the creation process :3
