I know that they weren't in the least bit anatomically correct, but a part of me do miss the look of the theropodes from the movies made by Harryhausen and the like.Related content

LOL!! It's the scene from Fantasia!! That T-Rex was so fanscinatingly scary to me when I was five years old.
Yeah, actually I admit being in the same boat as you. I kinda miss the old versions of T-Rex.
Kind of like how I don't care about scientific technicalities, Pluto will always be a planet to me. X3

Well it is pretty cool looking, the stance is very retro, as are other things about it, like the longer arms. And if this is a T. Rex, the 3 fingers, as well as being beside a Stegosaurus (if it's an Allosaurus, then the Pteranodon is the Anachronism then.) Still a very impressive dino, really like the spines down it's back and the mini horns above its eyes. Who knows, maybe in these old "Lost World" flicks of the day like the Lost World or King Kong, maybe an erect stance was an evolutionary advantage that occurred after 65 million years of continued evolution.
