Originally I didn't like the design for Getter Robo G at all, thinking it was just way too different compared to the rest. But with time I've actually grown to love it just as much as I do the other Getters.
I really like how this one turned out and I had lots of fun drawing all the robot gore.

I agree. The change was ood for Liger and Poseidon, but Dragon's head design never sat well with me.
P.S. did you ever notice something about Neo Getter Robo's design?

I guess I didn't really start to fully appreciate Dragon's design until after I got his revoltech figure. That was probably when I realized just how nice his looks actually are.
As for Neo, are you referring to the fact that it shares quite a few similarities with Getter G?

Exactly! They just combined Getter Go with Getter G. They did a good job, but I still think it could have been better. And thry could have just used Getter Go as well.
