This was the item I made for my sister for Christmas. It actually started out as a Joker with a pompadour, and I sculpted over his head and repainted him to make him look like my sister's character Ash Jerko: I made sure to unwrap the package carefully so that I could put him right back into the package like nothing's changed. Really, this guy was practically perfect for her character. Even had nearly the right hairstyle. Head was sculpted with Apoxie Sculpt, and painted with acrylic (the white sleeves and pattern, spots on the scarf, tigerstripe pants, and shoes).

what kind of sculpting puddy did you use, and have you found durable enough for figures. I've been using sculpy firm, but that stuff always cracks over time with me. haven't tried something this small though.

I used Apoxie Sculpt, which has about a 4-hour working time before it air-dries. It's a durable epoxy, and isn't as brittle as Sculpey tends to be.

yeah, I imagine so. I've worked with epoxy glues and it's serious stuff. I'm actually surprised an epoxy would have that long of a work time. I may have to try it out. Thanks for the information!!!

Yeah, it's not anything like a glue; it's more clay-putty ish. If I don't need the super-long work time of Sculpey, I usually prefer to sculpt in Apoxie Sculpt over anything else.

This was srsly the world's coolest freakin gift EVERrrrrrrrrrruhhhhhhhh. LIke seriously! I couldn't PAY someone to make me a cooler thing! XD Thank you so much for making xmas awesome. This is so perfect for Ash. I can't beleive it's his exact body type, his crazy legs, his posture!!! His hair and everything! The fact that it's in the packaging makes it 12034982305498% awesomer!! XD You know me and packaging! I love it!
