Mature Present : Age of Civil War

Eight years after the events of the Young Present, civil war has indeed broken out. Demons are once again returning from deep in the earth. Rumors of dark prophecies are spreading, causing despair and hard hearts. Link, now a captain in the Hyrulean guard, is the personal defender of the Princess Zelda, and his investigation into these events lead him to discover a secret so dangerous, it could ruin the world. Then, at a pivotal moment, his spirit is flung to another time period, to occupy the body of one of his future incarnations, in an environment where devastation has occurred. Link learns that he must enlist seven Sages in this era in order to stem the flow of evil power by activating seven temples across the land, preventing the worldwide destruction.
While many allies from this era come from the Young Present, here you gain some new allies (or changed descriptions):
Rauru, Sage of Light. Turns out, you age a little when you're alone in the Golden Land for a few centuries. But he is able to project a part of himself in the owl Kaepora Gaebora, extensively helping Link and others throughout Hyrule. Beeing cooped up alone in another land does tend to make you chatty, however, which explains his longwindedness.
Volvagia, Subterranean Lava Dragon.
Prince Tarris, heir to the Zora throne.
Vitarra, Gerudo thief. She's the one responsible for Zelda's kidnapping as a child, but it turns out she's not as bad as she seemed. Desires a better life for the Gerudo, away from the desert. Trained as a magic thief, she can immobilize a foe and change her appearance at will.
Dagoro, son of the Goron chief. Wields an iron bow in combat.
