Updated version of Natural Triads

Based on the outline and design of the Sigil of Corolon , this depicts how the Natural Forces of the Infinity Zone are correctly and accurately outlined via the layout and pattern of that Sigil. If you want to better understand the origins of the Sigil, click on the link above.

Continued from the ideas and patters discussed on the Natural Triads page, this gives us the prime example of the inspired pattern that Corolon revealed less than 300 years before the main events of the Infinity Zone story. Again, keep in mind the ideas of the balance of Three and rock-paper-scissors.
But I'm about to introduce something else that makes the Sigil a veritable work of art: the idea of the Two-Point line.

In mathematics, we learn that one basic way to plot the slope of a linear graph {y = mx + b, where m is the slope}, two points on that graph are required {m = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)}. In the Sigil, though, each of the "standard" points of the triads (Tech, Fire, Water, Bio, Ice, etc.) - not including the Centerpoint, the Inner Triad (Light, Dark, Alter), or the Outer Triad (more about this later) - has a dual-typing nature to them. This is what determines a Force's placement on the Sigil in the first place. Before this discovery, the placement of the "standard" forces was arbitrarily decided except for certain patterns. With the uncovering of the Outer Forces the pattern can be set and locked in place.

Again, related Forces are closer together, and each Force is easily overcome by the Force clockwise of it, with the exception of the Relational Triad. Below are the descriptions of each force, as well as (hehe) the parallel to the many Types in Pokémon, including some non-canon ones.

Center "Inner" Triangle: Ethereal Triad
Center: NON ( , , , ) - no specific force or aspect; non-specialized force. Anything that cannot be categorized in the other forces is labelled "NON" (and in some cases archived for future study). Until recently, some of the Relational Triad forces - sound and "personal energy" - were also identified as aspects of Non Force, but have since been removed. Also depicts the simple state of existence, or being, and so is also called TRUTH. Icon depicts a triangle with a centerpoint. Color: Gray.
Top: DARK ( ) - powers over darkness and shadows. Even though darkness in the absence of light scientifically, this force refers to a very real and tangible darkness that some sensitive people can feel. Icon depicts a dark vortex. Color: Black.
Right: LIGHT ( ) - powers over light and electromagnetic wavelengths, but only the visible spectrum (including colors but excluding anything beyond ultraviolet and infrared). Icon depicts a light source giving off rays. Color: White.
LEFT: ALTER ( , , ) - powers over perception ("telekinesis"), popularly including the perception of time. Name comes from "alter", or "the ability to change". Icon depicts an hourglass. Color: Violet / Purple.

Outer Triangle: Relational Triad - COUNTER-CLOCKWISE ADVANTAGES
Bottom: CHAOS ( , , ) - energy-related powers that have classically also been named "personal energy". Distinctly different than lifeforce energy, which is reference to Bio. Chaos energy is produced by one's raw willpower and spirit in a metaphysical sense. Often referred to as "WAR". Icon depicts a crystal with an energy core. Color: Indigo.
Left: HEART ( , , ) - powers based on emotions and relationships. Not the same as Alter magics, which include deception and trickery. Heart is based on the relational ties between individuals, families, species, etc. Also known as "LOVE". Icon depicts a bleeding heart. Color: Pink
Right: SOUND ( , ) - powers based on sound waves. Not to be confused with Wind-based abilities. While Light is occupied with electromagnetic waves, Sound covers mechanical waves. Icon depicts, you guessed it, sound waves. Color: Orange.

Each of the following Forces is therefore made when combining one Ethereal Force with one Relational Force. Again, if you're viewing a Triangle from the Centerpoint, then the combinations of Forces - and its placement on the chart - makes sense.
Imagine if you are standing on the Centerpoint (NON) and you are looking at the bottom-right triangle, the one housing the Forces of Creation. Directly in front of you is the Light Force. All three "standard" Forces before you - Earth, Water, Bio - have a Light Force component to them. Looking to your left, you will see an Outer Force: Sound. That means that the Triangle's "left" Force is going to have a Sound component to it, making it a Light-Sound pair. Look to the right, and the Outer Force is Chaos. The "right" point of the triangle will have a Chaos component. Looking behind you will reveal the last Outer Force: Heart. This means that the furthermost element of the triangle - its "top" force - will have be a Light-Heart combination.
This combination of Ethereal and Relational Forces actually defines the "standard" forces, sometimes in subtle ways.

Top Triangle: Forces of Destruction
Top: TECH - DARK+CHAOS ( , ) - powers over machinery ("technopathy"). Powers are better if said machinery is metal-based, but also works on, say, wood-based gears and electrical circuit boards. Part of the Functional Triad. Icon depicts three gears on a metal plate. Color: Periwinkle.
Right: AMBER - DARK+SOUND ( , ) - powers over electricity, including magnetism and atomic ionization. Named "Amber" based on etymological roots in common with the word "electricity". Part of the Temporal Triad. Icon depicts a thunderbolt. Color: Yellow
Left: FIRE - DARK+HEART ( ) - powers over fire and flames ("pyrokinesis"). Does not necessarily mean "heat" without a burst of flame. Also includes manipulation of plasmas. Part of the Plasmatic Triad. Icon depicts a fireball. Color: Red.

Top: WATER - LIGHT+SOUND ( ) - powers over water and most liquids, but not all. Does not include power over water in other states, such as ice, but includes limited power over steam. Part of the Plasmatic Triad. Icon depicts raindrops. Color: Blue.

Right: ICE - ALTER+CHAOS ( ) - powers over ice water, snow, or any other types of ice (known as volatiles ). Part of the Plasmatic Triad. Depicted by a snowflake. Color: Azure.
Left: RADIO - ALTER+SOUND ( , ) - powers over radioactivity and atomic energy. Often known to be a source of long-term mutations or degradations in exposed objects, and as such is often referred to as a destructive or poisonous force. Part of the Functional Triad. Depicted by a split atom. Color: Olive.

General advantages:
Ethereal Triad: LIGHT scatters DARK; ALTER confuses LIGHT; DARK manipulates ALTER.
Plasmatic Triad: WATER drowns FIRE; ICE freezes WATER; FIRE melts ICE.
Temporal Triad: EARTH grounds AMBER; WIND erodes EARTH; AMBER ionizes WIND.
Functional Triad: BIO overrides and controls TECH; RADIO corrodes and mutates BIO; TECH captures and contains RADIO.
Relational Triad - REVERSE DIRECTION from what's on the chart: harsh words (SOUND) alienate the HEART; love (HEART) survives in CHAOS; war (CHAOS) drowns out SOUND.

I know, I didn't add a background. Truth be told, the only real background I would add to this is one that'd take a long time to design and get right. I was thinking a sandstone look... But I think that's it's better this way; the focus is on the chart itself, not the fringe details. Besides, this makes the white-border trick I meticulously planned out ACTUALLY WORK.
