Another smaller part again. This is mostly due to the placement of events. This is a decent place to stop in order to avoid having the update be nine pages long. That, or it stops even more abruptly.
So yes, this should be obvious to those who remember the oldoldold work way back when. Coco has returned and with a few changes made since we last saw him. But that's all I want to say for now. All will be explained in due time.
Another thing to note is the subject matter roaring in abruptly. Or rather it spewing from the necks of patrats. I feel this is a tiny bit of a blunder on my part. It would have made more sense to establish the gore level earlier in the story. This is likely about as gory as things are going to get. I don't intend to have guts and flesh flying around any time soon. So your typical anime level of gore. Think Bleach-level I suppose. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go lash myself for bringing up Bleach.

I'm not gonna lie, butt fire jokes always sound funny to me even though I don't laugh. And I'm really liking this new style
The slice panels were well-executed and, if you allow me, they would be better by using three layers, one for the head, one for the "slice" (this one being very or slightly transparent) and one for the body. Because they end up looking as if the slice passed behind them not through them, just my opinion :/.
