Kinda of got this idea from Singing in the Rain. Now normally most people wouldn't want to be caught in the rain because you don't want to get wet and its cold. But not Vile, he hasn't felt the touch of raindrops in over a thousand years, its a wonderful feeling when those little drops touch the skin. While in the rain, Vile closes his eyes to focus and listen to the rain playing a song. He moves his hand to the rhythm of the song, pretending he is the conductor and the rain is his band.Vile ©

I can see what you mean due to his hair colors but he is not.
Originally his hair was all dark brown, the silver part appeared when he was reborn as a darkness.
