A closeup on one of my three fireys made for the Labyrinth Club's Seven Deadly Sins contest... the third that I completed... this one is Gluttony...
I chose to do my personal favourite three sins, because the time involved in making just one was pretty significant (hours and hours).
He is sitting on a Super Mario brothers style mushroom
In case you can't read the writing on the bag, it says "Karbobs" which Brian Froud wrote about in his book "The Goblins of Labyrinth"... they are defined as small tubers that flourish in the warm, wet cracks and crannies under armour. They must be eaten after they sprout, but before they flower, or else they can be extremely dangerous! This Firey here has polished off five bags, and is working on his sixth. Ever since the mayor started regulating the sales of Karbobs consumption is far less risky.
