Holy crap.
I just realized that your version of Doyle would basically be Jaune from RWBY.
They both are blonde, have blue eyes, are somewhat rubbish at fighting, are unsure of their abilities, try their best to be competent leaders, and have wielded a sword of some kind.
Hopefully this doesn't mean Jaune'll have to sacrifice himself to save his friends while taking down an army with him... (Though this would be a bittersweet way for him to reunite with Pyrrha in the end...)
