Dear EA you are the Nigerian princes of videio game makers you take Westwood and its fan base then merge it with yours and in the process shit on the fans of westwood!

Yes, Einstein was awesome. xD It's a shame he died in Red Alert 3.

Well he didnt die. He, along with all the story of RA2 just never existed if RA3 existed.

Probably redundant for me to jump back into an "old" thread...

I personally don't consider RA3 to be canon for the reason that it deviates so wildly from the original plot that EA initially intended (Red Alert flowing into Tiberium). On the other hand, an alternate universe to an alternate universe is somewhat fun to wrap your mind around.

RA3 is not canon if you ask me either, more like a parody.

RA2 isnt the same universe as the Tiberium series are however.

RA 1 Allied is canon and leads to either RA2 OR TibDawn, not both.

To each their own. It's universal that a link between the two universes will involve the intentional absence of one of the games.

Agreed on the inclusion of RA2 creating several major plotholes if inserted as is, but with the right corresponding adjustments made further down the line it wouldn't be too farfetched.

Well, think of this: The end of RA1 is with the Allies defeating the USSR, obviously forcing their warmachine to dissassemble, and with the Allies taking over their technology. Then the Allied nations, to make sure something like the Great World War II never happens again, forms the United Nations, which in turn later forms the GDI. Another hint that this was Westwood's intention is if you play the ant-missions, where you clearly play as the "Allies", yet, you are coloured golden and you have access to grenadiers and mammoth tanks and so forth; What faction does that sound like?
