Description
everyone has had those moments, be it in a job interview, a funeral, the end of a long running lie, whatever.that moment when you feel the lump in the back of your throat begin to form...
the dryng up of the mouth, the desperate wanting to gulp and hide it.
you might as well be drinking sand.

what a festive elixir you've concocted. makes my nose spread, turn down and my throat turn outside-in. what a unique overlay of human sensory perception. thanks for twisting my metasensory bank.

ooo, it's all bright and pretty that's such a clever little concept with that pic. it made me laugh when i saw it, which was unexpected to me when i see a pic of yours. very awesome, as always. i should do this more often...look at your pics first thing in the morning, that is. it gives a whole different perspective on them.
wow, anyway, i'll inish rambling and just say very awesoem job, once again.

hahahaha, na rambling is always good , the truth eventually comes out! maybe not a good idea to look at this with a hangover though first thing in the morning....may turn things a bad way...toooo fizzy! thankyou Jen for your lovely words once again. take care

if you look at it and not read the decription, another take on it is a kinda sarcastic look at holidays, which is what i thought you were doing here. Holidays are all bright prozac happy happy shiny colours, but in the end your being ripped off, staying in a dodgy unclean hotel and such like - hence the bitter introduction of sand
clever

Wow, what a cool concept. Sand in a cocktail glass. You're mind amazes me. I couldn't see the sand at first, then upon reading your words, I went BACK to the pic and blinked several times with a smirk. I think the slice of lemon threw me off. Bravo on your point of view of things.

thankyou so very much my friend, i am very happy indeed that you have adopted on of my pictures for your favourite gallery, remember not to feed it after midnight, do not immerse it in water and do not get into direct sunlight...these things are bad for it.
on a more serious note, thankyou mate, your words are always very kind and encouraging.

that is beautiful
i love the way you put it together

the comment that resonated
so much truth and honesty
we have all had those moments
with lies, and just being
ultimately uncomfortable in your
own skin
beautiful work ben
