this was one of the 12 shots i submitted to college regarding a higher. the theme was youth of today and i took it a little differently.got an A for it so all's well. not one of my more serious shots but i always smile when i see this so thought a small injection of some sort of humour was required. back to business shortly.

Another cool shot from the series.....and this one really made me chuckle! There's something synergistic about this series, something that just makes these photos more than just what's gone into them.....the mix of almost completely unrelated elements works really well. There's something that just bugs me about the focus and the DOF, it feels like you've tried to get the entire shot in focus and failed.....I'm not sure what you could do about it though, short of pushing the DOF that bit futher, or photoshopping two photos together.

The silly coloured tip does keep the whole scene in persepective, stops it getting too serious! I'm amazed that you captured the image that you had in your mind at the time, it's very rare that actually happens, for me at least. No matter how much planning I put into it, something always makes the final product differ from what I had in mind!

nice one! yeah i think my lens was a smidgen away from it when i took this one. Andy was a real sport in posing for me, great sense of humour too - got really into the character of it all and for that you have to give him a round of applause. thanks jenn once again for this connection.
